Enduring Hardships

God bless and gteetings

I do hope this text finds you well on this Glorious day given by God’s hand of comfort.

On our journey we at times stumble. We are hard on ourselves when we do dependent upon what we stumbled over or stumbled for. Either way , the stumble causes us to feel guilt due to having a moment of doing wrong or that moment of asking ourselves, “Why do I keep doing this?”

We all struggle against sin. “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves “ and lie to ourselves” and the truth is not in us. “ (1 John 1:8 [NIV]) When we do step of the path that God has for us , He disciplines us. Many feel that God leaves us and is angered by our continued transgressions and iniquities, but this is not so when we are humbly seeking God faithfully and daily.

When we do things against God’s understanding, God’s will, and continue to lead ourselves by our understanding or understanding of others, God sees this. We then have hardships in our lives of all different measures creating a sense of God not hearing us. “Endure hardship as discipline;God is treating you as His children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?” (Hebrews 12:7 [NIV]

Our hardships we endure brings light to turning our eyes upon Him to receive a way out and not turning to the world as what we have learned. “God disciplines us for our good, in order that we share His Holiness” and yes, we don’t like it when it occurs, especially when we begin to lose things such as materialistic items or items that support our family and home or those who we thought we are to be with or around for “no discipline seems pleasant at the time , but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it” (Hebrews 12:10-11 [NIV]

This training is part of what God has asked of us to “confess our sins” confirming His promises that “He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:10 [NIV] and speaking to God to “have mercy on” us “O God according to” His “unfailing love;according to “ His “great compassion blot out” our “transgressions. Wash away all “ our “iniquities and cleanse” us “from our sin” (Psalm 51:1-2 [NIV] from our hearts and submission fully to Him, God will see delight in our hearts for Him and tend to us by “healing our hearts and binding our wounds” (Psalm 147:3)

It is up to us as those who desire to conform to Christ will and way of life on earth shown by obedience to Our Father in Heaven which was witnessed in Christ walk in the light of God’s Will, way, and truth. Yes, we may stumble, but if we are to be found good in God’s eyes as He orders our steps, God will make our steps firm as we delight in Him and even though we may stumble, we will not fall for God keeps His hand is us. (Psalm 37:23-24)

Is what we do Glorify God?

May blessings be upon you in Christ name
