Today’s Devotional
11/02/2022
God bless and greetings,
I do hope this text finds you well on this Glorious day given by God’s guiding hand as our LORD and Shepherd.
May this day be a day that opens you up to being guided by God’s hand. May this day be a day that you resist resisting God’s full purpose for you.
Driving a car takes a great skill. Being able to use the brake effectively, accelerate moderately , steer to control the direction is important. But when you drive in conditions such as rain, snow , ice, fog, adjusting and allowing the car to move with the weather is what should be done. It’s when you overcorrect or not adjust your speed that causes the car to swerve and sometimes crash. This very thing occurs when God is attempting to steer your life continuously on the path He has established before you came into existence.
Your path does present those weather conditions that abruptly change how you move and being in your nature, you want to take control, even when you have no idea how to or where to go. The LORD is your Shepherd. You shall not need to take control or want to. Loosening your grip on your steering wheel of life and allowing God to guide you in His path of righteousness in His name sake will allow you to sit still and enjoy the scenery of Glory.
When you are running on fumes of anxiety, depression, doubt, the lack of control, and fear of the unknown, God will guide you to His filling station and restore you with fuel of the still water of His never expiring Spirit. With the light that God instills in you, the road in the dark valley will be lit in His path and knowing God is in control fear will leave, however, this takes submitting your control and will, surrendering your control and will, and receiving God’s navigation on your path.
Remember you are loved immensely and beyond measure. Remember to hear the voice of your LORD and Shepherd, you must surrender, lie down, and be still.
May God’s grace be with you as you keep your heart fueled by God’s Spirit by continuing to look for our LORD and Shepherd for guidance and control on your path.
🙏🏾✝️
